What color hair do you have vs what hair color do you have

which would one say

1 what color hair do you have/what hair color do you have

2 what size shoe are you/what shoe size are you

3 what brand shirt is that

thank you

Here are the ways that I would most regularly ask these questions: 1) What color is your hair? What is your (natural) hair color? (If the person has dyed their hair) 2) What size shoe do you wear?

thanks for the swift reply

obviously what you said is what i would have said but i've heard people say

what color hair/eyes do you have? could that be said , or is it wrong

speaking of wrong, a friend asked me a question

could this be said

1 he was wrong all the way down the line (meaning he was wrong about everything)

thanks

Dangerous territory. My advice is never to acknowledge that you know that someone dyes their hair (unless they bring up the subject first). I was once made to feel quite humiliated after venturing into that topic.

It's not wrong.

Yes. It's very informal.
