What can i do to improve my writing

1. Some people say that main environmental problem of our time is the loss of particular species of plants and animals. Others say that there are more environmental problems. Discuss both views and give your opinion.

TASK 2

A greater emphasis is now being placed on environmental problems worldwide. Many people advocate that the extinction of many plants and animals is the most important issue that needs foremost consideration, while others adopt an opposing view that there are more severe ones. From my perspective, I unequivocally agree with the latter as the loss of certain species is just the consequence of many other problems.

On the one hand, it is essential that the government as well as individuals take immediate approaches to protect animals and plants that are on the verge of extinction as it has many adverse effects. Indeed, the fact that many more are disappearing poses a potential threat to biodiversity. Moreover, the decrease in the population of species means an inadequate supply of food, therefore, humans may face famine and many other problems in the future.

On the other hand, I would argue that other environmental problems such as deforestation and climate change is the cause of species loss, so they are more important and dealing with them should be given top priority. Indeed, these problems lead to habitat loss and make animals as well as plants live in harsh conditions, hence, the number of species falls significantly. The number of polar bears, for example, has plummeted recently due to the melting ice in the South Poles.

In the light of these facts, I maintain that there are many other serious issues than species loss that should be tackled first. Moreover, with feasible strategy and the joint efforts of individuals and the government, these issues can be tackled easily.
