What can be used instead of "another" in this context?

Hello,

I would like to write the following sentences:

Signal reception is performed at receiver A. Meanwhile, another signal reception is performed at receiver B.

Problem: I treat "reception" in this context as an uncountable noun, and then I need a correct word rather than "another" which cannot be used with that uncountable noun (or rewrite the second sentence). Your suggestions are highly appreciated.

Start again: A signal is received at receiver A, and at the same time another signal is received at receiver B.

  • Start again: A signal is received at receiver A, and at the same time another signal is received at receiver B.

Thank you for your suggestion. However, I mean "special" signal reception, namely RAKE reception, and I have a few sentences between the aforementioned two sentences. Can I change "another" to "additional" or "further" as follows ? Please recall that I treat "reception" as an uncountable noun.

RAKE reception is performed at receiver A ............ (a few sentences here) ...........

Use the verb as I suggested.
