[What are the roles “mind ”play in these sentence]

In the following sentences, I'm not sure I am right?
Please help me. Thanks.

1nd {In somebody’s mind}:
  1. There was no doubt in my mind that it was the right decision to make.
Is the “in” to show the place in which “no doubt” exists or formed?

My main contention is that
I always went to Bible to find a witness when I formed my idea of English logic image.
To see the logic image of "the mind" is the great one for revealing all English logic images.
And my delight in realizing:
