While I was completing one of listening tests of BritishCouncil web app, I got two questions, though I could understand what they say.
I'd be willing to bet certain traits come to mind.
What is the meaning of "I'd be willing" in the above sentence. Is it possible to replace the phrase with "might" or "would" ?
These people would have described themselves as shy, quietly spoken … as introverts.
My second question is about "would have" in the above sentence. The only place in which I know to use "would have" is with third conditionals. Therefore, please someone tell me what is the meaning of the above sentence precisely. Furthermore, what are the other possible scenarios in which I can use "would have"?
