what are people working in the same industry called?

hi, could anybody tell me what people working in the same industry called? for example, I'm a lawyer, you are a lawyer too, so we are what? Thanks!

yes, colleagues, coworkers, peers...all mean people working together

colleagues is a good choices. if you are friends, maybe acquaintances? sorry, probably not much of a help.
