What am I doing wrong?

Hi everyone. I was trying to read an article but somehow I couldn't. I think I can usually understand what native speakers of English talk about but the article I'm going to post looks very difficult to understand. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. I probably have to work on my vocabulary, but even after doing that, I don't think I'll be still able to understand such articles. How do I know what the problem is? My vocabulary? My grammar?

Also, I don't know if this is the right place to submit a topic.

Thanks.

Don't feel bad. That's a hard article for native speakers to understand well. Only you know what your difficulty is.

Thanks for reply. Well, I wish I knew what my difficulty and weakness are. I had always thought my grammar was OK until I started reading the article. I guess I've still got to work on my grammar.

This is a very technical article. Until and unless, you have a good working knowledge of Physics, you will always find it difficult to understand, even if you are a native speaker. The words such as 'quanta', 'specific heat', 'molecules and atoms', 'Planck's constant', 'photons', 'magnetism', 'resistivity' etc may look like some alien language, if you have not studied Physics well in your higher s
