What adjective to use for this state?

Dear All,

What adjective do you use for the temporary state when a student can’t focus his/her attention on a single task? (For example, she/he gets easily diverted by outer sounds, then by what another student is doing, etc.) Is he-she deconcentrated? Scattered? What do you call that, please? Thanks in advance. Emotion: smile
