What about the Boers?
Hello,
I wonder if anyone knows about the Boers, what happened to them after the World War 1? I only know that at the beginning of the XX-th century, there was a war between Great Britain and South-African Boers; that these people lived in Africa but spoke Dutch; that during WW1 they (if not all, but some) were on the side of Germany against England. Perhaps I am wrong because I got this piece of knowledge from fiction books.
The side that interests me is not only history, but mostly culture and language, what happened to them?
