Are all correct? They are OK. However, the specific articles indicate that the the excerpts and the video/recording were mentioned earlier. If not, say They aired brief excerpts of a video tape which . . .

'Excerpts from . . .' is better than 'excerpts of . ..'

'Recording by . . . ' stresses who did the recording. 'Recording from . . . ' stresses who supplied it to the broadcaster.

Can the third sentence carry the meaning of either 'the video tape' or 'DVD' or 'Bluelay Disk' or somethig? Yes.
Which is the most natural one? Probably #3. The listener probably doesn't care what medium was used for the recording.
