Wh- question with be

Hello Teachers

I would like to know is this structure correct:

Wh- word + be + subject + complement?

For example:

Why are you angry? (Present simple)

Why were you angry? (Past simple)

In certain cases, but not always. If you have an auxiliary verb you put 'be' after the subject.
