Could anyone please tell me the difference between West Coast and East Coast english, and pronunciation if there is any?

White Urban Californian sounds quite neutral. I guess that is because you hear it so much on TV. Slim Pickins was from the California boonies, and they sound like a bunch of cartoon cowboys, a pleasant accent, really, but very "Western". You can't ignore the Hispanic element represented by Cheech Marin (who has a BA in English from Cal State, by the way). I don't know about Oregon or Washingto
