Well vs good

my sister was ordering a vodka gimlet the other night and asked a bartender ---

Do you make it good? and he answered I make it well... which is it?

I think good is an adjective modifying the gimlet... a good gimlet...

My daughter thinks he ws right that he MAKES well-- the gimlet...
