I think your sentences are natural enough. You don't hear "prissy" too often.

"Well-chosen words" more commonly refers to words which have already been chosen, such as "Those were well-chosen words!"

In your case, I'd probably say, "next time you should choose your words very carefully etc."

I wouldn't say "next time you should choose your words more care

choose your words carefully is stronger and more direct than use well-chosen words.
prudish is probably what you mean; not prissy.
