Grammar

We`ll be happy if you could attend.

Is this grammatically correct? It sounds a little strange to me. Anyone know the grammatical rules behind why this sentence would be correct/incorrect?

It seems fine to me - is in context to a party? "Gary and I are having a little open house on Monday. "

I'd have used "would", not "will".

We'd be happy if you could attend.

Alternatively, but not as good, in my opinion,

We'll be happy if you can attend.

I agree with Jim. His response is better than mine.
