0Hello,02br

00Just a question thats bugging me. Im a born Brit and lived in england until i was 21 ish.02br

00I now live in the netherlands since then (am now 50)and it still bugs me sometimes the use of some english words in the every day dutch converstation that are either out of context or just plain wrong. Normally I can give an explanation to what i think is wrong but lately i have come across a new fad word here and that is "wellness" is this a noun or not? im not convinced.02br

00Thanks02br

00The Cambridge Dictionary notes that "wellness" is used in American English, so you may well be reacting to the fact that it is apparently fairly uncommon (or not used) in British English.02br

00The word "wellness" has been around long enough in American English that it cannot be simply written off as a fad on this side of the pond
