Speech & Pronunciation

'welcome' and 'give a warm welcome'

Dear teachers,

Could you please let me know the announcement by the announcer seen in the below is correct?

I think it should be said:

"Ladies and gentlemen please welcome to the stage President of Mobile

Communications business, DJ Koh." or

"Ladies and gentlemen please welcome President of Mobile

Communications business, DJ Koh to the stage."
