I'm planning a party for this weekend. Can I say:

I think we need more guys for this party. OR

I think we need more guys at this party.

Mister Micawber - Stage fright is a common problem for many, irrespective of whether they are speaking L1 or L2. I am not an expert on this, but I know that Googling will turn up much good advice on minimizing stage fright.
