Weekdays

When we say weekdays and weekend, is it 'on' the weekdays/weekend or 'during' the weekdays/weekend? Which preposition is correct?

Top answer

You have to use on if day is used: on weekdays. Some people say on weekends, some say at weekends . I know at least one American who always says on the weekends.
