I guess 'it' refers to some item for sale. "This item is buy one get one free" means that if you buy a piece of that item, you can get another piece of the same item free. paco
Are you saying I was wrong? There are about 1840 pages on Google that are using "... is buy one get one free". 645 pages among them are actually using "... item is buy one get one free" paco
We may be lacking the context, Paco. But "on Wednesdays" adds a general meaning to the sentence. And the use of "it" is quite general too. I don't think it refers to a particular item.
BTW, I do like your avatar! Is is a painting, or have you made it yourself?
Your avatar is very eye-catching. Every time I see your picture, I think of 'Doctor' or 'Judge'! I think it's because you dress up like that kind. Could it be 'buy one diamond get one cafe au lait free?
That is, 'the situation' on Wednesdays where whatever you buy, you get the second one free-- something you'll never encounter on a Wednesday, or any other day of the week, in a new-car showroom.
