Wedding got fixed

My wedding got fixed on 23rd April 2013, so I would be available through out april month.

Does the above sentence sounds OK?

Can I use "Got fixed" whenever the date has been set/predetermined/allotted for a particular event?

My wedding will be on 23 April 2013. I will [not?] be available throughout the month of April.

I will be getting married on 23 April 2013.

If your friend cares enough to know that a date has been set, I think your friend would want to know what that date is.

This is not a matter of grammar.

This is a matter of meaning.

If your listener only cares to know that something has been scheduled and doesn't care when the event will take place, you can certainly say this.

If you have an interview, is it useful to know "The interview has been scheduled"? Or do you want to know when the interview will be?

If you will be attend
