We'd rock matching tracksuits/rope gold chains

What does it mean to "we would rock X"?

Does "rope gold chains" refer to what rapers usually wear, those big gold chains?
The unclear word here is "rope"...

I want to fall in love at 85, go on shuffleboard dates, and dance to hip-hop from '95. We'd rock matching tracksuits and rope gold chains. We'd look like Run-D.M.C., but in their old age.
