Weather fluctuation or temperature fluctuation

Hi!

May I ask which sentence sound natural if I want send a message to a foreign friend in an email?

- There has been weather fluctuation / temperature fluctuation these weeks! Stay warm!

- The weather has been fluctuating these weeks. Stay warm!

I'd say that 'fluctuation' is too literary. I'd say There have been a lot of swings in the temperature these last few weeks. OR The weather has been unstable these last few weeks.
