Wear or wears

Hi,

I'm reading a lot of Brautigan at the moment and came across this sentence. Is "wear" correct or should it be "wears"?

"What drives him to drink also requires that he wear a suit of armour in court"

Thanks

Wear is fine. This is one of the remaining uses of the subjunctive: The club asks/demands/requires/suggests that he wear a jacket and tie.
