Weak point and weakness

Hi. Teachers~

I have a question about the difference between 'weak spot' and 'weakness' when it comes to liking something or somebody.

It seems they are interchangeable.

I have a real weakness for fashionable clothes.

I’ve always had a weak spot for chocolate.

Thanks in advance~
