We was - Is this consider correct at all?

In Hollywood movies, why people use a singular verb in situations like this?

We was going to the shop. This isn't correct right? I have seen 'was' being used right after we in a conversation between the characters in many movies.

I have seen some people talk like that in real life too. May be they are adopting what they see in the movies thinking that it's american style. Sometimes, they even think that by speaking like in the movies, they are ahead of us.
