we or they ? which pronoun to use

Hi,

I am wondering which pronoun I should use in my writing either "we" or "they", when I write about say, Japanese people, if I am also, say, a Japanese.

Is it OK to use both we and they in one piece of writing depending on my point of view?

Thank you,
M

mitsuwao23 Is it OK to use both we and they in one piece of writing depending on my point of view? It is OK to use either one. Once you have chosen a viewpoint, however, it is not usually a very good idea to change it within the same piece of writing.
