We must enhance our reading habits.

Hi

Which verb would work here better?

(Two students talking to each other)

And we've been completely away from books lately. We must enhance/regulate/strengthen/better our reading habits.

Thanks,

Tom

That kind of conversation between students would be much simpler and more casual. eg We haven't done any reading for a long time. We'd better start again / get serious about it again.

Hi

'improve' comes to my mind:

- We must start improving our reading habits again
