We live up and down each other.

Hi

Is the underlined sentence natural?

(If one family lives on the ground floor, the other on the first floor...)

A- Where do you two live?

B- We live up and down each other.

or

We live just up and down each other but don't see each other for months.

Thanks,

Tom
