We have an e-n-d with every f-r-i-e-n-d ?

Hello

I am from Hong Kong.

By the sentence "We get an e-n-d with every f-r-i-e-n-d" , I want to convey two meanings; the first is that there is a word e-n-d in the word f-r-i-e-n-d and the second is that no friendship can sustain forever.

I want to know how English native speakers think about the sentence both from descriptive and prescriptive point of view.

Many thanks

I am from HK as well. Welcome! I suppose certain degree of the meaning can be obtained from the words, but the sentence doesn't flow too well to my half-native ears, idiomatically speaking.
