We had a quick coffee/tea/lunch, etc

Hi

Are these sentences natural, especially with quick?

We had a quick coffee.

We had a quick lunch.

We had a quick tea.

Also, am I right in udnerstanding that none of the following adjectives can substitute quick in the above sentences?

Fast

Swift

Rapid

Thanks,

Tom

Your sentences are all fine, although I don't often hear "a quick tea." Well, maybe in GB.
In the US, most of the tea drinkers I know like to sip.
Tea is for relaxing, but a quick coffee is usually to "keep you going!"

I often hear "We had a fast coffee/lunch."

They are, indeed, synonyms. Oddly enough, however, they don't really sound good in this case.
