We can't crack tomorrow open?

Please check whether or not the following sentence is right.

"Too bad we can't crack tomorrow open to see if it's the way we would like it"

If it is a right sentence, I couldn't understand the meaning "we can't crack tomorrow open". Could you explain its meaning to me?

Thank you for your teaching in advance.

We usually use "crack open" when we are opening something and we don't know what the contents are.

In this case, it is like saying, "It's too bad we can't see into the future and see if we like what happens tomorrow."
