We can not help everyone in the world that needs help, so we should only be concerned with our own communities and countries. To what extent do you agree and disagree with this statement?

Some people believe that we can not help everyone in the world if their countries and communities still have many problems and they should only be concerned with it. Although I agree that people should be worried about their communities, I think we should help as many people as possible.

On the one hand, I consider that it is vital to help our neighbors and fellow citizens. In most communities, there still remain many poor residents living in slums, do not have enough food or clothes to wear. For people concern with this problem, they can donate clothes, food, or money to the charity fund to help these people or directly go to one particular destination to give them. For example, Vietnamese charity had funded about 14 billion Vietnam dong to help compatriots living in flooded regions. As a result, the problem can quickly be tackled, and many people back to work happily.

At the same time, I believe that we have an obligation to help those living outside our boundaries. In some countries, the problems people confront are much more serious than those in our community and it is often easier to help. For example, because of the pandemic, many countries were struggling with lacking medical facilities lead to the escalation in the death of patients. A small donation to an international charity might have a much greater impact than in our local area.

In conclusion, it is true that we can not help everyone, but in my point of view, we shouldn’t let the nation's boundaries stop us from helping each other.
