When the patient complains of an illness like throat pain and fever, is it natural for the doctor to say -

We can fix it, don’t worry.

Please help.

No. Doctors usually don't use the word 'fix'.I suppose you could use it for something that is broken,eg a bone. But the verb for a bone is usually set.

A doctor cures a sore throat.

But my doctor rarely uses the word cure.

She just says eg Take 2 of these pills twice a day for a week.
