We are open for or to?

Hi there!

please I need an answer to my question. I read the following:

"we are opened for any suggestion from you"

I would correct it this way: "We are open to any suggestion from you" ??

Pamela81 I would correct it this way: "We are open to any suggestion from you" Good idea. This version is better. As for the use of open for : Suppose you open a shop at 10 o'clock.

As for the use of open for:

Suppose you open a shop at 10 o'clock. At 10:05 you can say, "Now we are open for business".
