We are only block

This is the lyrics of a song called "Somebody":

Why can't everybody know what's good
We are only block
Bring us everything we think we need
Tonight is going up (tonight is going up)

What does 'block' here mean?

I don't know if it means anything, but I think that whoever wrote those lyrics could do with improving their English language skills.

Well, I've checked at least 10+ lyrics sites, and they all have the same line "We are only block".
Need the song writer have meant something like 'We are only (building) blocks' since they're talking about 'bring every block and going up' and all?

Even then, I'm not sure why it's not 'blocks' but 'block'.
Is it possible to treat 'block' in this context like a non-cou

This doesn't necessarily prove anything since lyrics can be copied and pasted, mistakes and all, from one site to another. However, I don't have any evidence that "block" is wrong.
