"We are not going to show up for tonight's meeting"?

Busy schedule! Unfortunately, we are not going to show up for tonight's meeting. We have a hearing at Administration Court this morning, then we have to go home to get some rest. We cannot stay awake all day long (till evening?) or go back commuting/traveling for about 216 kms.

Is there anything more to make it natural, please?
