We are all

1. We all are waiting for you.
2. We are all waiting for you.
What is the difference in meaning between the two sentences ?
In the first sentence, I think, "We" and "all" are in apposition and it certainly seems more grammatically correct. What is the function of "all" in the second sentence ?

Debpriya Dedifference in meaning
None. "all" tends to move to the right of the verb.

But even when "all" moves to the right of the verb, it is considered to be in apposition to the pronoun "we", right ?

Yes. It still belongs with the subject even though it is displaced to the right.

Doesn't "both" have the same property too ?
For example "We are both in love with her."
