Way to go

Could anybody tell me if I understand this sentence correctly:

Way to go on hitting your move goal yesterday!

Yesterday you hit your move goal in an excellent manner, or something like that.

Thank you

Hi Natalia, "Way to go" is a slightly informal way of saying "well done" or "congratulations". Regards, David.
