Way to commit

Here's a short conversation taken from Madagascar 3:
A: I can't! There's no brakes!
B: No brakes? Well, way to commit, soldier.

What does B mean by "way to commit"?

That is the way to commit -

When you are committed to something, it means that you are determined to do it no matter what.

Having no brakes means that the car is committed to go and go and go until it either crashes or runs out of gas.
It has no other choice, so it is really committed!
