Wave forms

Hi

The equations Fourier developed to convert images into wave forms and back again are known as Fourier transforms.

Does "wave forms" mean the same as "forms of waves"?

It's more like "forms/shapes that resemble a wave". g Cool Edit, Audacity etc) then you're already familiar with waveforms (the graphical representation of a signal in the time domain)

It's more like "forms/shapes that resemble a wave". If you ever used an audio editing program (e.g Cool Edit, Audacity etc) then you're already familiar with waveforms (the graphical representation of a signal in the time domain)
