Water which is boiled first and then cooled

Hi

A person is being advised to do the following 2 steps in sequence before he can drink water..

Step 1 - Boil the water.

Step 2 - Let it cool.

Step 3 - Drink the cooled water..

I'd like to document this advice in a single statement - Drink water which is boiled first and then cooled.

Does it convey the right meaning?

Is there a better way of saying it?

Please help

Thank you

Yes. I think people normally just say "Drink only boiled water." Cooling it goes without saying. Or "Boil your drinking water" or "Boil your water before drinking."
