does this rule work for everything ?
i mean if it sells sth then is it always correct to say "sth store" ?

And about that, i meant the things like "sports item store" or "cell phone store"

Those are usually called the "sporting goods" store and the "phone" store, yes. Generally speaking if you can't come up with a special name for a store, just call it the X store (where X is what it sells) and you'll at least be understood even if there is a special name for the store that sells X.

CliveHi, If I wanted to buy a watch or a clock, my first thought would be to go to a department store. Such a store sells lots of different things in its various departments. Clive

But in my country there are some stores in which they only sell watches and clock and if someone wants to buy such things they often go to these stores.
