Waste solution?

There's a solution (liquid) you want to waste/dispose of.
My dictionary says waste liquid/waste solution, but are they understandable?

Yes it is! By the way, the dictionary also says waste fluid. If using fluid, would waste + fluid be okay?

I believe that must be liquid waste. But I'm just curious to know that we can say waste fluid, too. Aside from the correctness, the dictionary says so, and I just wondered waste + xx (fluid) is okay, too.
