wasn't or weren't or both

There are a lot of things that he did in the past wasn't right
is it correct? or I should use weren't.

This could also be used I suppose.

so if I write it in the format that I wrote , I should use weren't ?

weren't comes with things, as it is plural. Had it been thing, you could have made use of was.
