It was a really hot day and his bed's really warm and so is he so I was really hot.

Shouldn't it be 'was' instead of 'is' and what's the difference?

While you're here I have another question.

What would his mom have said, if she had seen/saw me?

She used the version with 'saw'. Is that correct? Can it be a substitute for 'had seen'?

Hi,

It's less-good English, but not unusual.

Do these carry the same meaning? I mean, when the inversion takes the place of the "if"? Do you say the first one sometimes?
