Washington Square

Has anybody read a novel Washington Square? If yes, could you please answer these questions:

1. Describe H.J. focus on social conventions and beliefs as presented in the novel.
2. Describe Catherine's character and determine whether or not she is disillusioned and idyllic, how her character grows from the beginning of the book to the end of.
3. Describe the theme of betrayal and describe how characters betray and are betrayed by others in the novel.

I have to do it for my English Literature class.
