Washington Post changes style guide to include "THEY" as indefinite 3rd person singular

Singular "they," the gender-neutral pronoun, has been named the Word of the Year.
It saves space on the page and effort in the writing/editing, and just about everyone knows that "they" means "she or he." Link is below
