Washing the dishes

Teachers, can you say: "I got a job at a restaurant washing the dishes"?

Is "the dishes" correct? Or is only to describe washing dishes in a house?

Thank you.

Yes, that's correct either for a house or a restaurant. Probably, for the restaurant case, I would say "a job washing dishes", but "washing the dishes" is fine too.
