I think I heard this sentence but not sure.
It's about money laundering.
Can you say money was washed?
Money was washed through different fronts.

Money was laundered is the correct way to say it, Washed would mean that you literally washed it(soap and stuff). but never through different fronts, that one is the verb "launder". I am a lawyer,
